Fiskars 7855 8-Inch Hatchet Reviews
The Fiskars website asks not to call this 8-inch Hatchet cute, but who can help it? My dad saw it and immediately wanted one he thought it was so cute, regardless of how it works. But here's the awesome part: it works better than any other hatchet I have ever used! br /br /The 8-inch handle means if you have any hand-eye coordination whatsoever, you won't miss your target, and with a few swipes through the Fiskars axe sharpener it's razor sharp. It weighs less than a pound, and after making a sheath for it with a belt loop, I carried it around while camping and forgot it was on my hip it's so light. It has a lifetime guarantee that the handle will not break and the head will never loosen or separate! It is made in Finland.br /br /For making kindling, this is perfect. Splits wood with ease, and easy to control. It even splits small whole logs, up to about 6-7 inches in diameter, as long as there are no serious knots and the wood your splitting has a nice, straight grain. br /br /I couldn't be happier with this little beauty! Highly recommended!

Fiskars 8-Inch Hatchet is very dangerous. You can cut off a limb or a protrusion from a hand if you don't know how to use this. The level of training it takes to competently instate yourself with the knowledge of "Hatchet chopping" is about 2 years.br /br /Most people pick this up for recreational use at the local fish pond or RV camp and meet disastrous results, which result in the trip to the local hospital ward. I can not endorse a Hatchet that is so flauntingly dangerous. If you need wood, you can buy it somewhere or hire a vagrant to cut it from a forest.
